Casual Society and Fusilier London are high-end menswear clothing brands offering lines that range from luxury casualwear to Sport-lux streetwear aesthetics. Both brands are stylish and possess strong but subtle aesthetics’ designed to attract the younger luxury conscious Gen Z, Millennials and the stylish Gen X who have large disposable incomes and want to stand out from the crowd.

Our Design & Production team specialises in the use of laminated materials, velvets, micro-leather, specialist inks, rubberised plastics and couture threads that provide the high-end graphic finishes and logo designs that embellish our garments. Our collections feature very expensive and bespoke accessories like zippers, press studs and buttons that provide the authentic Sport Lux finishes expected from our target audience.

Creative Development Hub – Work Space Philosophy
The warehouse/office environment will reflect the brand’s ambitions for success and the personality of the people who operate within the space.

The Directors of the business see the creative team as “stakeholders” and have therefore decided that the core of the creative sales team will be responsible not only for the acquisition of the warehouse space but will also be responsible for the studio fit-out. The studio/hub will become a fast-paced business arena imbuing a sense of ownership and pride of place for the team.

The studio space will host the Digital Marketing Sales Suite, Ecommerce and Fashion Photography Studio, and High-spec Fashion Showroom. The Showroom, Bar and Working Canteen area will be used for hosting B2B & B2C coffee meetings and events that will give exposure to the creative team and designers who will flow around the fast-paced creative hub interfacing with visiting clients.

The Role - Head of Production

We are looking for a talented and entrepreneurial “Senior Filmmaker and Leader” to join our business and grow their own team as the stand-alone creative department. As the successful candidate developing their own team, you will support us in realising our ambition of becoming the UK’s leading “Digital First” boutique fashion brand, for Sport-Lux and high-end streetwear.

As Shooter/editor you’ll be the core of the video creation development team, working on a wide range of video projects across our menswear brands. You will be the major player in the decision-making process when planning shoots on a wide range of production formats from creating basic engaging content to filming live multi-camera events and interviews as well as editing short and long-form videos for social broadcast.

This role requires you to have extensive knowledge of cameras, lighting and filming techniques, as well as a great technical understanding of pre and postproduction development processes.

You will be required to have extensive knowledge and experience of editing techniques and be expected to have good experience with Adobe Premiere Pro & Creative Cloud.

As well as producing state of the art advertising campaigns, you will have the creative flair, drive, vision, track record and experience of being the creative lead on directing short films, short documentaries and have a sharp eye or interest of filming live entertainment events, vlogging and sofas with musicians, artists, writers and other creatives we will work with as affiliates and influencers.

As a Videographer/Video Editor you will shoot, edit and create world-class video content across all major video platforms. We’re looking for someone who has aspired and achieved their goal of creating teams that deliver compelling ad campaigns, film and documentaries, who now wishes to stretch themselves to create their own business-within-a-business.

The ideal candidate has great videography and editing reel experience and possesses the strongest understanding of the entire workflow from pre-production to post-production.

This is a pivotal creative role within the business, where you’ll work closely with the wider team on the launches of new collections as well as developing our own online voice, accent, presence, direction, and ways of doing things. Our production team will create a strong bond with the in-house senior content writer, the digital marketing sales team, PR and your own photographer, motion graphics and graphics designer.

Main Responsibilities

You will work on full video production processes including conceptualisation, storyboarding, brainstorming, scheduling, filming, and post-editing including animations. This will include but not be limited to the following:

  • You will develop and own the visual interpretation of the brands across all video media and channels, making sure the tone is consistent across all touchpoint
  • You will work closely with the wider team to generate creative content and video concepts that deliver compelling campaigns.
  • You will manage multiple edits and projects at the same time.
  • You will understand the subtle but major differences of creating bespoke edits for different platforms from the same shoot, and how to engage the same and different target audiences across varying platforms.
  • You will be expected to have experience studying differing customer behaviours and spending habits on channels such as YouTube, Tik-Tok and Instagram and Facebook-Meta, (Google & Amazon).
  • You will have an in-depth experience of pitching and planning shoots as well as storyboarding and writing dialogues and direction for shoots when creating video projects
  • You will be the visual leader around which the business pivots, allowing the brands and our creative team the power to express their ideas visually from a fashion, advertising and film perspective.
  • We will also create compelling customer service reels that help B2C & B2B audiences understand our business, our products, and our values.
  • You will lead our in-house creatives to build, grow, and expand the presence of Casual Society & Fusilier London through film online.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams on planning requirements and processes.
  • You’ll keep up to date and understand the latest trends and developments in video entertainment, across platforms and devices.
  • As senior videographer and editor, you will be responsible for the creation of world-class fashion videos that define our menswear brands across all platforms.
  • You will develop workstreams on a range of creative edits varying from ad campaigns, runway shows, TVC ads, social media ads and internal film exposing the business the team and what we do for B2B and B2C exposure.
  • A team dedicated to creating videos of sensational quality and novel creativity – at a huge scale.
  • We are looking for a leader who is passionate about video, editing and is a pro as well as a great team builder and player, who’s ambition it is to bring innovation and collaboration to everything we do as a way of elevating yourself as an individual and our business within the same process.
  • The position involves developing over-time our own in-house team consisting of talented in-house juniors and mid-level talent members, where you support and build a department that is big on mentoring and guidance of team members on their road to continual professional development within their careers.
  • Your role involves the buying in of contract staff often on a short-term basis to assist on project-based video deliveries, where you collaborate with producers, specialist editors or creative directors to effectively deliver their vision, contributing along the way to your personal goals and build a record of industry recognised achievements.
  • You will possess exceptional multitasking and project management abilities when managing your own team, with the ability to manage multiple edits, have outstanding organisational skills, as well as have the initiative to plan workloads in a phased manner to alleviate and eradicate stress when working in pressurised environments during peak.
  • Work alongside an exciting team of editors, VFX, motion graphics, CG artists, colourists and post-production specialists and producers. In so doing you will deliver exciting creative shoots, edits and works that drive sales exponentially, whilst delivering huge returns on our financial investments in your creative film, video and advertising campaigns.
  • The ability to work quickly and efficiently with a strong eye for detail seeking out errors and having the experience of building into your workflow strategic ways of managing out errors by way of delegation to direct reports or external parties, earning and commanding the respect of being the senior creative in our business.
  • You will demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities and positive, dynamic strengths in supporting your team and the wider sales business in partnership with the eCommerce digital marketing sales director and the wider sales teams.
  • In following established processes, you will deliver creative and quality standards in line with industry recognised quality control standards.
  • Experience in end-to-end videography workflow, including storyboarding, capture, lighting and editing.
    All experience developing and delivering and working in a professional photography studio and lighting is a must.
  • All image retouching, inclusive of colour correction, image file optimisation skills and management where external contracting of skill is required.
  • A full understanding and proficiency in the Adobe Editing Suite, including Premiere Pro and Photoshop
  • All responsibilities for organising and maintaining the business visual assets on safe and secure servers of our video and photographic libraries, as well as implementing asset control strategies, for the safe distribution of digital assets to and from the business to cross-functional teams some of whom may be external parties to our enterprise.
  • You will be required to show and prove a solid portfolio that demonstrates your commercial achievements and prowess in the industry and showcases your experience in creative videography, motion graphics, advertising campaigns and still life photography extracted from your reels.
  • Supporting the Marketing Director in the organisation of showroom, location shoots, Lifestyle imagery and other sales & marketing campaigns.

Effective planning, shooting, and the editing of video content including the following:

  • Interpreting creative briefs for campaign shoots with all considerations for cost planning, human resource management (staff and teams), materials, equipment, and sundries and the costings thereof.
  • You will have experience and/or be willing to take part in understanding the planning of works in relation to program managers. It is essential that you take part in Master Planning project timelines across the business and various disciplines integrating with the need for the Gantt Chart programme & timeline management.The result is that Gantt Chart management allows the whole business to coordinate respective workstreams, by way of organising the works of the whole in-house team, pulling the parts into one whole, thereby organising the business to work as one whole, rather than a series of dis-jointed departments.
    Full responsibility for standards and operational excellence of the video/photo studio workspace & equipment etc.
  • Manage the full retouching workflow in line with brand guidelines ensuring the delivery of images within the agreed SLA and to the required high standards
Experience and Skill Requirements
  • You will have the highest level of Camera, Lighting & Audio operating experience.
  • You will possess the highest levels of technical proficiency with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and After Effects, AI, Photoshop
  • You have good communication skills when managing people and other production participants as actors, photographers, production teams, producers and influencers etc.
  • You are a Production and Post-Production specialist.
  • You have commercial experience developing multi-channel ad campaigns and have an innate understanding and in-depth knowledge of what encourages engagement on social media platforms – thereby understanding the intricate differences between the platforms as Instagram YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Tik-Tok etc
  • You have a proven track record and comprehensive knowledge of video editing for multiple platforms, with impressive technical knowledge of video formats and editing.
  • You have experience in working with all major online video format platforms, with particular attention to
  • YouTube, Instagram, Tik-Tok and Twitter.
  • You have a good understanding of the usage and clearance requirements for music, images, and footage.
  • You are a time-master accustomed to working to tight deadlines across multiple projects to Gantt programme time constraints, considering external contributors.
